FAQs

What makes dinabase7 different from a traditional adhesive cream?

DinaBase7 is not a traditional adhesive cream. DinaBase7 is a comfortable thermoplastic adhesive for dentures, also used by dentists for temporary denture relining. It adheres to dentures and denture-like materials, providing a unique “suction effect”, preventing food residue, discomfort, and friction.
Thermoplastic means that the material softens and adapts with heat and hardens as it cools – essentially, every 7 days, you reshape your denture to fit your arches perfectly, ensuring maximum comfort.

How dinabase7 works?

DinaBase7 adapts with heat. The thermoplastic material it is made of allows for easy manipulation and adjustment to different dentures. It completely fills the space between the palate and the denture, ensuring perfect stability and comfort even after cooling.

are there recommendations and tips for better adhesion?

In the first few hours after application, avoid drinking alcohol and very hot beverages.

If you realize that you have used too little material, you can easily add more on top. However, first, thoroughly clean and dry the entire surface of the existing layer – only then will the additional material adhere properly.

what should i do if my denture doesn't stay in place?

Initially, it is advisable to use a bit more product, as the soft surface layer needs to adhere properly to the oral mucosa (gums or palate) to stabilize the denture.

NOTE: if the gum tissue is too thin or if the bone is exposed, the suction effect cannot occur, and adhesion may not be guaranteed.

Once the product is generously applied at the center and evenly distributed over the entire denture, insert it and bite down. If no excess product comes out, it means too little was used.

With continued use, you will become more skilled at determining the right amount of material and how to distribute it effectively. You’ll learn where to leave more excess to prevent food infiltration and where to leave less to avoid uncomfortable friction.

When applied correctly, the denture will be securely positioned, ensuring comfort and preventing food infiltration.

what should i do if i feel a burning sensation?

Don’t worry if you feel a burning sensation when inserting your denture – this is a mild disinfecting effect during the first application. Simply remove the denture and rinse it under cold running water for a few minutes. Then, rinse your mouth again before reinserting the denture – the burning sensation will subside.

If you are switching from a traditional adhesive that does not create a protective cushion between the hard denture resin and your gums, you may experience sores. If your gums are inflamed or you have cuts in your mouth, contact with DinaBase may cause a burning sensation. We recommend treating these wounds as soon as possible. You can use a product like Cikaflogo, a natural solution specifically designed to heal gums, the tongue, and the mouth.

How and when should I clean my prosthesis?

Your hands must be thoroughly washed and clean before handling the product; otherwise, DinaBase7 will not adhere properly.
Before applying the product, the denture must be perfectly clean: wash it thoroughly with water and soap, rinse it well, and dry it completely.

how to clean and maintain the denture?

On the first day, rinse only with cold water and gently brush the denture with a toothbrush.
From the second day onward, you can brush it as usual.

You can use cleaning tablets, as long as they have a quick action (5-10 minutes). Do not leave the denture soaking beyond the required time for the tablets to work. Once cleaned, store it completely dry in its case.

The next morning, before wearing it, soak the denture in lukewarm water for a few minutes to soften the surface layer.

how to remove dinabase 7?

Soak the denture in hot water (60°C) for 5 to 10 minutes. Then, lift and peel off the entire layer of material to be removed.
To avoid scratching the denture, use a non-sharp tool, such as a coffee spoon, to assist in the removal.

what to do if the product doesn't come out easily?

The product may be difficult to dispense if the tube is not fully opened. Make sure to create a large, round hole using the pointed end of the cap.
If the hole is properly made and the product still does not come out, it may not have been heated enough. Tightly screw the cap back on and repeat the heating process.

when to replace dinabase7?

Replace it every 7 days to ensure maximum hygiene, prevent bad breath, and avoid possible bacterial or fungal growth. The product’s ingredients have been specifically selected to ensure excellent compatibility with acrylic dentures.

what to do in case of allergies?

For years, DinaBase7 has been used by dentists, and no cases of adverse reactions have been reported. However, if you have any concerns about using the product, we recommend consulting your dentist.

Do not use it if you suffer from allergies or have a sensitivity to its ingredients, especially Ethyl Alcohol (Ethanol).

By applying an adequate thickness of DinaBase7 on the denture, in some cases, it may even be possible to wear it over a suture point.

why is it more expensive than regular denture adhesives?

DinaBase7 is made using patented ingredients and a unique formula in a small laboratory and produced in small batches, unlike regular denture adhesives, which are mass-produced industrially like glue. Additionally, one tube lasts 4 to 6 weeks, making it more cost-effective in the long run compared to traditional denture adhesives.

does it work on all types of dentures and is it safe to use on all dentures?

Yes, DinaBase7 can be safely used on all types of upper, lower, and partial dentures.

what are the ingredients of DinaBase7?

Polyvinyl acetate, ethanol, water, propanone, isopropyl, eucalyptol, natural menthol, red pigment.
